Nicci Dedman
Nicci Dedman creates her unique sculptures using wire alone, predominantly repurposing and recycling steel wire.
Much influenced by a background in jewellery Nicci now returns to her creative journey as a sculptor. Working from home on the Norfolk/Suffolk border she has developed and adapted her skills to create integral three dimensional pieces of varying sizes, without using soldering or welding.
Subjects are often inspired by local flora and fauna conveying elements of fragility and robustness in the intricate and complex handcrafted work. Her passion and fascination with wire has lead her to explore further possibilities.
In 2022, across East Anglia, Nicci has shown her range of wire upholstered functional outdoor furniture.
