Raeleen Gladwell
New member Raeleen began leatherworking about 10 years ago. She learnt the traditional methods using traditional tools for crafting leather bags and accessories from Valerie Micheal in Gloucestershire. She worked on developing her skills over the years and eventually left a long career in teaching to work with leather.
Raeleen uses the highest quality British materials wherever possible, traditional techniques and more contemporary designs to produce pieces that are not only functional but are heirloom quality.
More recently she has been marbling leather and incorporating these pieces into her designs. She plan to continue exploring marbling and developing her techniques.
