Niall Craig
Niall works in a variety of hardwoods, mainly, walnut, maple, oak, beech and sapele, making modern geometric furniture.
He enjoys laminating different varieties of wood to make patterns and add a tactile quality to the work.
The furniture will on occasion have gaps and spaces built into it to give a lightness and delicate nature to the piece. In some cases he combines wood, glass, metal or Perspex as an integral part of the design adding further colour to the furniture.
