Jenny Nutbeem
Jenny’s velvet, silk and linen scarves and jackets are individually dyed and painted using indigo and reactive dyes. Originally inspired by traditional Japanese design and textile
techniques, her work is based around the unique qualities and colours of the Suffolk coastal landscape.
Jenny’s designs and working methods have evolved from a concern with the environment and a no-waste philosophy, and she enjoys experimenting creatively with reclaimed and recycled materials.
Jenny also delivers creative workshops for local schools and community groups and is a member of CRAFTCO, a cooperative with a shop and gallery in Southwold.
