Screen Printing
Annabel has adapted the screen print process to incorporate work on a large scale. Using print combinations of photo and paper stencil to layer depth, detail and colour onto surfaces of paper, canvas and cloth.
The context and structure of the work responds to development from drawings, mark making and colour, and a constant use of hybread print processes. Positive elements structures work that interacts together on the same plane to fuse both figurative and abstract aspects of composition.
There is a continuing connection to Suffolk gardens, fields and coasts.
Studied in London at St. Martins and Camberwell School of Art and University of London Institute of Education. After leaving London moved to Suffolk to set up a studio where she has successfully
worked on public and private commissions, developed educational links and been involved
with Arts Projects, artists groups and associations.
