Cherry bowl with remnant hole from a hungry beetle.
The exterior has a fine oil finish to enhance the grain. The interior has a finish straight off the tool which gives a texture and colour that contrasts with the exterior. The recessed base has a small area of hand carving to finish.The bowl is slightly oval as it was made from fresh wood and the wall thickness at the top is 2.5mm. Theapproximate weight is 40 grams. Overall dimensions 82mm in diameter x 80mm tall.
