Cherry bowl with knot in base and distinctive streaking from ageing.
The exterior has a fine oil finish to enhance the grain. The interior has a finish straight off the tool which gives a texture and colour that contrasts with the exterior. The recessed base has a small area of hand carving to finish. The bowl is slightly oval as it was made from fresh wood and the wall thickness at the top is 2.3mm. The approximate weight is 55 grams.Overall dimensions 102mm in diameter by 96mm tall.
