Concave Pendant

Description

Highly decorative Mokume pendant captured in a simple geometric shape. The gently curved concave pendant sets off the Mokume Gane with a silver rim and silver chain.

Mokume Gane is an ancient Japanese technique. Layers of different coloured metals are fusion bonded
to create a billet containing the strengths and properties of both metals. This billet is then worked;
punched, drilled and forged to reveal the inner layers and create the decorative surface you see here.
The pendant measures 16 x 16mm.
