Clare Gaylard - Glassmaker

Clare sculpts with rods of Murano glass in an intense flame to create unique sculptures, vessels and wearable art. She creates her own detailing and inclusions and every element is created entirely in the flame

Clare says - ‘I am inspired by people, places, objects, artefacts and stories. My glass tells stories, celebrates colour, pattern, light and the beauty of the small.’

Clare graduated from Loughborough College of Art and Design with a BA Hons in Silversmithing & Jewellery.
