Danielle Wade's inspiration for her Polly's Textiles brand comes mainly from flora and fauna, translated through her personal style of linear drawing and a variety of photography techniques using bold colour combinations she produces visually interesting utilitarian products.
Danielle uses natural fabrics like cottons, linens and silk mixed with specialist fabrics, such as devore, all hand dyed to her specific colour choices.
She then combines these fabrics with different processes and techniques of textile printing inks and embroidery to create rich, colourful surface pattern. These surface patterns are then made up into cushions, aprons, laundry and shopping bags.
