The society welcomes new member Nell Rose. 

 

Nell is a weaver and textile artist whose weaving includes wall pieces, sculptures, hats and scarves. 

 

Her work is often experimental in nature and an exploration of the infinite possibilities of weaving cloth. Nell’s small studio contains a 12 shaft Louet Delta Countermarche floor loom, various Ashford table looms and a Louet Magic Dobby loom (24 shafts) which she has converted to use to make 3D woven sculpture. Nell uses natural fibres almost exclusively and dyes much of her yarn with natural dyes.
