Phoebe was awarded a two year membership to the Suffolk Craft Society as part of the now defunct 'Making It' initiative, offering recent graduates the opportunity of support in bridging the gap between education and the market place.
Phoebe Pryor’s practice has a preoccupation with the repetition, colour and shape of organic forms. She combines an intuitive approach to mark making with materials such as woodcut and lino that require a studied and slow method of working.
Phoebe read History of Art at the University of Leeds before studying a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Kingston University. Currently based in Suffolk, she works from her studio at Butley Mills.
