Looking for something inspiring to do this weekend? The Suffolk Craft Society invites visitors to its first exhibition of the year at Gallery 21 and the Dovecote at Snape Maltings

This vibrant spring exhibition brings together the work of more than 30 talented Society members, showcasing an exciting range of contemporary craft including ceramics, jewellery, glass, textiles, printmaking, sculpture and woodwork. Each maker brings their own distinctive style and techniques, creating a rich and varied display that celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship of artists working across Suffolk and beyond.

Set beside the beautiful River Alde, Snape Maltings provides the perfect setting to experience the exhibition. After exploring the galleries, visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the river, taking in the wide marshland views before rounding off the day with tea and cake at one of the Maltings’ welcoming cafés.

The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm until the 28th April and offers a wonderful opportunity to discover unique handmade work and meet some of the region’s most skilled makers.

A visit to Snape Maltings this spring promises art, inspiration and a perfect Suffolk day out — not an event to be missed.
