Several members of Suffolk Craft Society will be opening their studios and workshops as part of this year's Suffolk Open Studios programme.
This annual event offers a rare and fascinating opportunity to step beyond the gallery or exhibition space and into the places where creativity happens. Visitors can meet artists and makers in their working environments, gain insight into their techniques and materials, and discover the inspiration behind the beautiful work they create.
Whether you are interested in ceramics, textiles, printmaking, painting, jewellery, sculpture or mixed media, Suffolk Open Studios provides a unique chance to experience the creative process first-hand. From sketchbooks and prototypes to works in progress and finished pieces, you'll see how ideas develop and evolve into the exceptional handmade work for which Suffolk's makers are renowned.
