New projects for 2025 include SCS Maker and weaver Ruth Holt preparing for a two week residency in The Orkney Islands.
Ruth has had a long-term association with Orkney and you will see the effects of the landscape, its forms and subtle colours in her weaving. The residency will take place at Linkhouse, Orkney and is a joint venture with the Pier Arts Centre.
Inspiration for this residency came from the work of Victoria Crowe and her time in the same place. Ruth is gathering work and research from previous visits and time spent at the Pier and Loft Gallery. We look forward to engaging with her experience of the residency!
