Danielle Hopkinson - Cushions
The Friends Raffle was drawn by Jason Gathorne-Hardy of Alde Valley Festival at White House Farm Great Glemham. 
The lucky winners were Emma Buckmaster, J Darby, Pru Green, Stephanie Powell, and Lorraine Stanley. 
 
The prizes, all items from our talented makers were as follows: 
 
From bookbinder Paul Garcia - A hand-sewn blank sketch- or note-book made with John Purcell Five Seasons recycled paper, with hand sewn silk end-bands, and handmade Indian paper endpapers. The edges are finished with acrylic and 24ct gold leaf using the Japanese Sunago technique. The boards are an interpretation of a traditional half leather binding with a a leather spine and corners and a handmade paper infill. The leather is blind tooled with gold foil highlights. 
 
From glass artist Danielle Hopkinson - fused glass sculpture of a chicken with kiln fired paint details, 230mm high. 
 
From textile artist Danielle Wade - two 18" square cushions. 
 
From woodworker Dennis Hales - sycamore fruits in spalted sycamore bowl, oil finished. 
 
From printmaker Helen Maxfield - a limited edition print "Winding Furrows"
