Suffolk in the City 2026 is open

The Suffolk Craft Society is delighted to return to London Craft Week with Suffolk in the City, our second exhibition as part of this internationally celebrated festival, generously hosted by our Patron, Trevor Pickett. After months of planning and preparation, we are now fully installed and open, bringing together an inspiring showcase of contemporary craft from Society members in the heart of London. 

 

Each year, London Craft Week transforms the city into a vibrant celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and design excellence. Bringing together more than 1,000 established and emerging makers, designers, galleries and luxury brands from around the world, the festival offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience exceptional work across a remarkable range of disciplines. As the organisers describe it, the festival is curated not by fame or price, but by “underlying substance” — alongside that essential sense of magic and inspiration that elevates truly great work. 

 

We are proud for the Suffolk Craft Society to once again be part of this exciting cultural event, showcasing the extraordinary talent, skill and individuality of our members. From beautifully crafted ceramics and textiles to jewellery, printmaking, wood, leather and mixed media, Suffolk in the City reflects both the rich heritage of British craftsmanship and the innovative spirit of contemporary makers today. 

 

Hosted by Trevor Pickett, the exhibition provides visitors with the opportunity not only to view and purchase exceptional handmade work, but also to connect with the stories, processes and creative journeys behind each piece.
