Missing our Summer Exhibition? While the season may be over, several Suffolk Craft Society makers are busy preparing for exhibitions elsewhere.

Mary Wyatt, Pat Todd, and Verena Daniels will be showcasing their work together at 142 Gallery, Hamilton Road, Felixstowe, from 9th to 15th October 2025.

Mary Wyatt creates hand-built sculptures that explore shape and balance, capturing human figures, animals, and seascapes suspended in motion. She is currently developing new work through experimental raku firing techniques.

Pat Todd, working from her Felixstowe studio, specialises in porcelain and stoneware. Her delicate, slip-cast bowls reflect spontaneity and are often coloured with oxides to reveal ammonite-inspired textures. Pat also creates ceramic wall pieces—evocative seascapes and landscapes framed in box settings, inspired by the Suffolk coast.

Verena Daniels has worked with glass for over twenty years, using fusing and slumping techniques. Her work, often based on her own sketches, incorporates glass, copper foil, and wire to depict landscapes and natural forms. She also uses coloured glass frit to capture light and texture, creating atmospheric pieces full of movement and depth.

This promises to be a beautiful and diverse exhibition from three accomplished makers, each with a unique approach to materials and form. Be sure to visit if you’re in the area!
