We are seeking a new Chair to lead one of the East of England’s most established and respected arts organisations. This voluntary position, typically held for a three-year term, offers an exciting opportunity to help shape the future direction of Suffolk Craft Society while championing excellence in contemporary craft.
The role calls for strong leadership and organisational skills, alongside enthusiasm for high-quality craftsmanship and, ideally, an understanding of the creative sector. As Chair, you will become an ambassador for Suffolk Craft Society, representing the organisation across the East of England and beyond, and helping to strengthen its profile, partnerships and ambitions.
Supported by an active and committed Committee, the role is flexible and can be shaped around the experience, strengths and interests of the successful candidate. This is a unique opportunity to take on a high-profile position within a dynamic and well-established craft society, contributing to the continued success and development of one of the region’s leading creative organisations.
If you are interested, or know someone who might be interested, a Job Description can be found here or from the Secretary. Please contact the Secretary for more information about this opportunity.
