Are you a professional maker looking to connect with a community of skilled craftspeople? The Suffolk Craft Society is welcoming new member applications from 1st - 31st July.
Founded in 1970, Suffolk Craft Society promotes high-quality contemporary craft and supports its members through exhibitions, education, and collaboration. With around 90 members working across a wide range of disciplines, the Society offers a platform for both emerging and established makers.
We’re looking for designer-makers based in Suffolk or nearby counties whose work demonstrates strong design, technical skill, originality, and a commitment to their craft. We particularly welcome applications with a sustainable focus.
Applications are open twice a year, in January and July. The process includes submitting a completed form, up to 8 images of your work, and a small admin fee. Shortlisted applicants are invited to a 20-minute interview via Zoom with members of our committee.
