Looking Back on a Wonderful Year
As the year draws to a close, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our members, supporters, and friends for your enthusiasm and encouragement throughout 2025. Your continued support has made this an exceptional year for the Suffolk Craft Society.
Over the past twelve months, we’ve held four outstanding exhibitions, both here in Suffolk and in the capital, sharing our members’ remarkable craftsmanship with an ever-wider audience.
A special thank you goes to our Chair, Juliet Bowmaker, and Patron, Trevor Pickett, whose dedication and vision helped bring Suffolk in the City to life — our first collaboration with London Craft Week and a wonderful showcase of the skill and creativity of our makers.
We’ve also continued to strengthen our partnerships with some of our favourite local venues — the beautiful, National Trust Ickworth Estate, the historic Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds, and The Minories in Colchester — all of which have provided inspiring spaces and beautiful back drops for our exhibitions and events.
As the Society gains greater national recognition, we’re excited to look ahead to new opportunities and creative ventures in 2026. We hope you’ll join us for another year of celebrating craftsmanship, creativity, and community and wish you all a very Happy New year.
