Heading to the city this weekend and looking for inspiration? As part of this year’s London Craft Week, Suffolk Craft Society is delighted to once again present Suffolk in the City at Pickett London, hosted by our Patron, Trevor Pickett.
Set within the elegant surroundings of Burlington Arcade, the exhibition brings together a thoughtfully curated selection of contemporary craftsmanship from Society makers, including weaving, jewellery, textiles, printmaking, ceramics and more. The exhibition celebrates the remarkable breadth of creative talent found across Suffolk, showcasing work that combines traditional skills with contemporary design and exceptional attention to detail.
Since its launch in 2015, London Craft Week has grown into one of the world’s leading celebrations of craftsmanship. The festival now attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and features work from makers, galleries, luxury brands, independent studios and cultural institutions from around the globe. What makes London Craft Week so distinctive is its ability to place hidden workshops and independent makers alongside internationally recognised designers, heritage craftspeople and major creative houses, creating a uniquely varied and inspiring programme across the capital.
Our residence at Pickett London places Suffolk Craft Society at the heart of this creative energy.
