All good things must come to an end, and sadly that is also true of our Suffolk Craft Society Summer Exhibition, which closes on Sunday, 20th September.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to visit, now is the perfect time to make a date in your diary. This varied and beautiful exhibition brings together an inspiring selection of contemporary craft from our talented makers, showcasing pieces that are both practical and beautiful, modern heirlooms to treasure for years to come.

There is plenty to discover, including the first showing of Crossing Crafts, an exciting collaborative project bringing together members of the Suffolk Craft Society and the Society of Designer Craftsmen. The project celebrates the creativity, skill and shared ideas that emerge when makers from different backgrounds and disciplines work together.

And there’s even more to enjoy as you explore the exhibition. Buy a raffle ticket for the chance to win a special prize selected by the Friends of the Suffolk Craft Society, have a go at Raeleen Gladwell’s ‘Tools of Leather’ quiz, and keep your eyes open for contemporary craft creations tucked amongst the historic displays in the Ickworth House exhibition.

With so much to see, discover and enjoy - from exquisite handmade objects and innovative contemporary work to unexpected craft discoveries throughout the house - we’d hate for you to miss it.
