Suffolk Craft Society is one of the region's leading organisations dedicated to promoting excellence in contemporary craft. Membership is selective and reflects the Society's commitment to supporting makers who demonstrate a high standard of craftsmanship, creativity and professional practice.Applications for membership are invited twice each year, during two application windows: 1–31 January and 1–31 July, with the July application period open now.
Prospective members are asked to complete an application form and submit up to eight images showcasing their work. Applications are carefully assessed by the Society's committee against our membership criteria, which consider factors such as originality, quality of workmanship and commitment to professional craft practice.
Applicants who meet the majority of the criteria will be invited to attend an interview, providing an opportunity to discuss their work, creative practice and aspirations, while also learning more about the Society and the opportunities membership can offer.
Membership of Suffolk Craft Society provides access to a thriving and supportive community of makers, together with opportunities to exhibit, promote your work and engage with fellow craftspeople across the region.
