Jeweller Alison Dane creates distinctive paper jewellery that combines colour, texture and craftsmanship in uniquely wearable forms. Her work has evolved from a long-standing fascination with colour, influenced by her interests in photography and gardening, and explores both accidental and carefully controlled decorative effects. 

 

Using a variety of techniques including mono-printing, staining and sponging, Alison designs and decorates her own papers before embellishing and sealing them to create durable, water-resistant pieces. Each bead is individually hand-rolled and often combined with semi-precious stones to add colour and sparkle. The resulting necklaces and earrings are lightweight, stylish and versatile, complementing both everyday and special-occasion wear. 

Printmaker Greta Hansen draws inspiration from the landscapes and coastline of her native Suffolk. Having trained at Ipswich Art School, Central Saint Martins and London University, she continued to develop her creative practice while teaching art and pottery in London before eventually returning to Suffolk. 

 

For more than two decades Greta has been refining her printmaking skills, first through etching and more recently through collagraphs, lino cuts and MDF woodblock prints. She frequently employs reduction printing techniques, working through successive layers of colour to create rich and sometimes unexpected results. Developed from sketches and paintings made on regular excursions into the countryside, her prints capture the atmosphere, character and changing moods of the Suffolk landscape. 

Leatherworker Sarah Woodcock creates beautifully crafted pieces that combine practicality with timeless design. Working with the finest natural leathers and traditional techniques, she produces items intended to be used, treasured and passed down through generations. Her work celebrates the enduring qualities of leather, with each piece developing its own character and patina through years of use. 

 

Sarah came to leatherwork as a second career after many years working as a Curator for the National Trust. Drawing on a family tradition of skilled makers that spans several generations, she brings a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, heritage and longevity to everything she creates.
