We’re delighted to highlight an inspiring upcoming event featuring Suffolk Craft Society member and glass artist Arabella Marshall, alongside writers Suzanne Bartlett and Tamar Yoseloff. On Sunday 21 September, they will lead a unique creative walk designed to spark both poetry and drawing, set against the stunning backdrop of the Suffolk coast.

The walk begins at Dunwich Heath, a landscape rich with texture, light, and history, and concludes at Minsmere Chapel, where Arabella’s breathtaking glass installation, A Wing and a Prayer, is permanently housed within the chapel’s ruins. This evocative glass ‘window’ responds beautifully to its environment, reflecting the themes of fragility, hope, and reverence for nature.

As you journey through the landscape, Tamar will offer haiku-writing prompts, encouraging you to observe and express the natural world in short poetic form. Arabella will share drawing exercises and ideas to help participants engage visually with their surroundings, whether through quick sketches or more reflective mark-making.
This walk is not just an invitation to explore a landscape - it’s a chance to connect creatively with it. Whether you're a seasoned writer, an artist, or simply curious, this event promises a thoughtful and enriching experience.
