As well as beautiful hand crafted items from over 50 local artisits there's the oportunity to buy a ticket for The Friends of the Suffolk Craft Society Annual Raffle. The 2025’s prizes once again celebrate the very best of fine craftsmanship with three exquisite handmade pieces to be won. It’s a wonderful way to support the Society while having the chance to take home something truly special. This year’s prizes include:
A beautifully crafted plain-page hardback book made using John Purcell Five Seasons recycled paper with marbled edges, hand-sewn silk end bands, aerolinen hinges, handmade paper doublures, and a Macclesfield silk ribbon. The cover features split Gemini millboard wrapped in fine leather — a true work of art for writers and collectors alike.
This delicate and colourful still life is created from sycamore, dyed with water-soluble pigments, with holly stems and an elegantly turned plate to complete the arrangement — a beautiful expression of skill and imagination.
