Our exhibition at the wonderful National Trust Ickworth House is the perfect place to visit during Heritage Open Days, England’s largest community-led festival of history and culture.
Every September, Heritage Open Days brings people together to celebrate heritage, community and history, with thousands of local volunteers and organisations taking part. It is an opportunity to discover stories, explore traditions and bring history to life, as well as to visit hidden places and enjoy new experiences — and it’s all free.
From the 11th–14th of September, the whole Ickworth Estate will be free to enter, making this a wonderful opportunity to explore the beautiful grounds, enjoy an autumn walk and then discover the heritage crafts on display within the WestWing gallery.
Our Suffolk Craft Society exhibition celebrates the skill, creativity and craftsmanship of our members, and we hope it will provide inspiration for visitors exploring Ickworth and its rich heritage. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Ickworth estate and sharing our exhibition with you during Heritage Open Days. You can discover the full list of participating members here >>
