Not a maker yourself but passionate about contemporary craft? Why not join as a Friend of the Suffolk Craft Society?

Founded in 1970, the Suffolk Craft Society champions high-quality contemporary craft and supports local makers working across a wide range of disciplines. With around 90 professional Makers in membership, the Society continues to thrive thanks in no small part to the loyalty and enthusiasm of its Friends.

Friends of SCS play a vital role in helping us promote excellence in the applied arts across the region. Subscriptions directly support future projects and initiatives, and many Friends also generously volunteer their time by helping to supervise exhibitions and workshops — support that is always warmly appreciated.
Benefits of becoming a Friend include:
Regular newsletters with updates on SCS activities, Makers and opportunities
Invitations to Private Views and exclusive Suffolk Craft Society events
An invitation to the AGM lunch, a relaxed and enjoyable chance to meet our Makers
A 10% discount on purchases at SCS exhibitions and events

Join us today and help support contemporary craft in Suffolk — we’d love to welcome you as a Friend.
