The Friends of the Suffolk Craft Society are delighted to be hosting their Annual Raffle once again, offering supporters the chance to win one of three beautiful handmade pieces while helping to support the work of the Society.
This year’s prizes are a wonderful celebration of craftsmanship, featuring three distinctive works by Suffolk makers:
A handmade cushion by Chloe Scott
A turned wooden tree by Nichola Rowe
A ceramic stacking vessel by Anne-Marie Jacobs
The Friends of the Suffolk Craft Society have been running an annual raffle for many years. In its early days, makers generously donated their work, while in more recent years the Friends have purchased pieces directly from makers at discounted prices.
Each year, the raffle features a rotating selection of craft disciplines. The Friends choose pieces that work beautifully together when displayed at Society exhibitions and that can also be safely and easily posted should a winner live outside Suffolk. For security reasons, jewellery is not included in the raffle.
How to enter
All Friends receive details of the current raffle by post, together with two books of tickets. Tickets cost £1 each, or £5 per book, and are also available to purchase at all Suffolk Craft Society exhibitions. The draw will take place on the final day of the Society’s last exhibition of the year, at Bury St Edmunds Guildhall on Sunday 22nd November.
Funds raised through the raffle help support new Suffolk Craft Society initiatives, making every ticket purchased a contribution to the continuing development of the Society and its programme.
We wish everyone who enters the very best of luck, and thank you for your continued support of the Suffolk Craft Society and its makers.
