This Fund is being set up at a time of economic uncertainty and high level of need amongst craft makers. It is intended to formalise previous grant making systems by the Society, to be transparent in approach and open to all members. 
 
This scheme is intended to supply small grants for specific purposes to makers who are in dire financial need to enable them to continue to practise and market their craft. The fund is designed to supply one-off amounts to a maximum of £500 in any one year 
 
Applications are open to all members of Suffolk Craft Society 
All information supplied by applicants will be treated in the utmost confidence Applications to be assessed and agreed by a small group to include the Treasurer and two others from the Committee. Applications will be turned round within 14 days of receipt  
 
Applications must show evidence of: 
Purpose for which the money is intended 
A demonstration of financial hardship of the applicant
