Influenced by the rural surroundings of her workshop, particularly wild birds, animals and the fruits grown in local orchards, Helen produce a wide range of brightly coloured functional earthenware. These are characterised by their bold sponged or hand-painted designs, which are applied before the pieces are glazed and fired. Helen's work is primarily wheel-thrown, while the larger plates and platters are press moulded. Helen has a BA in Ceramics from Corsham.
